"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."

What is a Lillekrakk?

The name LILLEKRAKK (lil' ə kräḱ) is derived from the Norwegian/Danish words for "little stool."

HIS little Gothic Revival beauty fulfills a multitude of functions in the household. With its convenient carry hole and oversized footprint, the Lillekrakk is the ideal domestic step-stool, fireside bench, and diminutive companion. Many dwellings rely on two or more of them.

The genuine Lillekrakk is constructed with solid North American hardwoods and fitted and finished in the tradition of the American Arts and Crafts Movement.  Refined in design and harmonious in many surroundings, the Lillekrakk is a source of beauty and aesthetic satisfaction.

We take pride in the heritage joinery, Mission finish, and the lovely figured oak top of our Lillekrakk. The keyed mortise and tenon structure you see is not merely for ornamental effect...it speaks of strength and durability.
